Jeff Crowder

Born and raised in San Diego, California; Jeff Crowder teaches The Art of Lecturing, a course on medical and scientific presentation in English, at the Medical University of Vienna and the Inselspital Bern as well as courses in Medical English writing. He also trains students in Technical English presentation and communication at the Technical University of Vienna. In addition to his university teaching activities, he instructs business English at many of Austria’s foremost companies and organizations. The remainder of this occupational time is taken up with proofreading, translation, and his soon to be completed English Drillbook for German Speakers. He also offers his own English conversation courses under the name Excellence in English.

Werner Sieghart

Werner Sieghart is Professor for Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology and Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Center for Brain Research, Medical University Vienna. He is the author of more than 200 original publications and a well-known researcher in the field of GABA receptors. As an experienced supervisor of diploma and PhD students he will have useful tips for you on how to contribute to a scientific discussion and how to comment on other researcher’s data.
