Abstracts can be submitted using the registration form.
Please read the following guidelines below as they are compulsory. - Abstracts must be submitted and presented at the conference in English.
- Once the abstract is submitted, changes, corrections or rewording are not possible anymore.
- Careful typing and proofreading are essential, as the abstract will be published as submitted.
- The presenting author is obliged to ascertain that all authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to YSA for the PhD Sympopsium.
- All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by an independent scientific committee.
- Accepted abstracts will qualify for either oral presentation or poster presentation and will be published in the abstract book.
- Please note that the final decision on the presentation format will be made by the expert reviewers of the scientific committee
- Please note that active participation (oral or poster presentations) can be accepted as two semester hours.
Abstracts titles should be brief and reflect the content of the abstract (max. 2000 characters).
Abstracts should include:
- an introduction indicating the purpose of the study
- a brief description of pertinent experimental procedures
- a summary of the presented data
- a conclusion.
The use of standard abbreviations is desirable. A special or unusual abbreviation must be placed (in round brackets) after the first appearance of the word for which it stands. The abstract submission form will not accept abstracts that exceed 2000 characters (body of the abstract including spaces).
