Marija Geroldinger-Simic studied medicine in Belgrade and Vienna.
She is currently working on her PhD thesis in the lab of Prof. Bohle at the Institute of Pathophysiology. Her research focuses on mechanisms which regulate allergic immune responses. In particular, she is interested in the role of immunological cross-reactivity for maintenance of Type 1 allergy.
Marija joined the YSA board in 2008 as Vice-President. In the current board she was elected as President.
